Greetings, I'm Sharmaine, a 27-year-old individual who has been a double above-knee (DAK) amputee for the past two decades. My journey took an unexpected turn 20 years ago when a tragic road accident resulted in the loss of both my legs. Despite the challenges, I find joy in embracing life.
I have a penchant for cute dresses, and you'll often find me gracefully navigating the world either in my wheelchair or using my hands to move across surfaces. While I harbor a deep love for travel, unfortunately, my current circumstances limit my ability to explore new places.
My aspirations extend beyond personal interests. I am eager to continue my studies and channel my knowledge and skills to support not only my family but also contribute to the well-being of my neighbors. Life has presented me with unique challenges, but I am determined to overcome them and make a positive impact on those around me.
